Kitting:

  • For outer borders to be continuous (not pieced): Cut at 1-7/8 yard and then cut/split along the fold of the bolt. A single 1-7/8 yard length of fabric cut on the fold will produce enough border strips for 2 kits. Note: this does result in extra leftover fabric compared to sewing WOF strips and sub-cutting for border segments. 
  • If you opt for the solid border continuous cut, reduce the original background yardage called for to 1 yard.
